I typically keep a camera with me, just in case... While at a meeting at E76 in Hollywood, we noticed it looked "foggy" outside. So, we opened the door and across the Hollywood Fwy, the shoulder was ablaze. So, calling a "still alarm," the crew suited up and we were off. I typically don't like to use small consumer style cameras, but this footage shows what is possible with even the smallest HDV canon camera. I only wish we had one of the new (not yet released) Panasonic GH1 D-SLR still/video cameras. This would have been an ideal test for it. Grab some popcorn, as this is a ten minute video. Edited in Final Cut Pro, and without any color grading - this is direct from the camera to the edit suite to YouTube.
