This is our overview video here on the Nikon D5000, which is a 12-megapixel digital SLR camera. This camera was released in April 2009. This camera is between the D60 and the Nikon D90 with the D5000 is the best of both worlds. The D5000 can record 720p HD video, and offers the live view. Again, this is the first Nikon digital SLR functions of the hinge of the screen. I recommend this camera for those looking for something a little 'more advanced in more than a Nikon D40D60 or something and not, as the Nikon D90 or D300 progressed.
